About
Fabric Boutique was established in 1985. Two ladies from the local community, developed the business in a small 400 sq./ft location on Main Street in the former Town of Windsor, Newfoundland. It did not take long for the business to attract customers, so much so that the ladies, who had other priorities, sold the business to the current owner, Art Hunter. Art officially opened the Fabric Boutique in 1987 in the same 400sq./ft space. In the following year, in response to increased business, the Fabric Boutique moved to a much larger 1000 sq./ft space on Main Street. This move allowed for significant expansion, providing more room for products, services and most important, more space for customers to browse.
Now from its 3500 sq./ft location on 114 Main Street in Grand Falls-Windsor, Fabric Boutique provides an impressive variety of products and services. Products include a wide range of sewing machines, fabrics, quilting supplies, drapery, craft supplies, yarn and notions. Services include alterations, and sewing machine repair. With four full-time staff, the Fabric Boutique is one of the most well recognized and trusted fabric firms in Central Newfoundland.
